Creel Printing installs Prism QTMS on Web Presses

Wilmington, MA, January 19 - Creel Printing of Las Vegas, Nevada, will install QTMS iQ Web and iQ Paper systems on their two Goss Sunday presses. QTMS will be integrated to Creel's existing management information system (MIS) through the QTMS application programming interface (API).

“Paper represents a significant portion of our job cost,” said Paul Knox, VP of Manufacturing. “QTMS gives us the capability to manage those costs and significantly reduce our overruns – both planned and unplanned.”

Creel Printing, a family owned and operated company since 1953, selected QTMS after a lengthy evaluation of available solutions. The ability to accurately count good copy across a complex variety of folding and delivery options proved to be a key factor in the decision to move forward with QTMS.

All jobs will be planned and scheduled in Creel’s MIS and seamlessly passed to the presses for production. This approach ensures no changes to front office procedures and minimizes the training and disruption associated with the implementation. Job costing data will be passed from QTMS to the MIS for timely and accurate costing and invoicing.
